Nighthawk R8500 - Cannot rename device
I have roughly 40 devices attached to my router. I have been able to rename all my attached devices but starting at about device 38 or so, I have been unable to rename new devices. I can rename dev...
I installed the app and it let me change the name but the names kept resetting. I finally gave up and factory reset the router. Took a couple of hours to reset all the devices on the network but the renaming issues seems to be resolved.
Have you tried to do this on the Nighthawk app?

- I did it on my r7450 so they should be able to do it for their r8500.

Thanks for you reply. Yes but it didnt work. Ended up factory resetting the router.
