Nighthawk r9000 ReadyCLOUD Registration not working
When I go to login to the readyCLOUD portion of the router, I can enter my username and password of myNetgear account (which I know is correct as I have logged into readyCLOUD with the same creds fro...

Downgraded my firmware to 1.0.3.6. rebooted and tried to register. This time all went through. Upgraded to 1.0.3.10 and tried again, broken again. Must be the new **bleep** firmware. Doesn't really surprise me that Netgear has no input on this.
Thanks for your help gentlemen!

Hard to help as the ReadyCloud integration is very proprietary and there is not much help on troubleshooting.
Un-register and re-register the R9000 (operating on a 1.0.3.16 Beta firmware however) with ReadyCloud - using the unified MyNetgear account - worked seamless.
Potential issues might exist in whatever "odd" characters in the passwords (yay, it's a modern style ...) - I'd suggest to stick with some basic A..Z, a..z, 0..9 characters to avoid unexpected effects like truncation.
What can come into my mind (and knowing having read several similar threads recently) might be the DNS configuration of the router. Some "over smart" (read: ****, ******, ******) ISP seem to run some filters in their DNS - ways beyond of the governmental legal requirements - in an attempt to block such VPN or DDNS technologies. An the ReadyCloud implementation is not very verbose if something does not work as expected when run on the green golf course.
In a way, I would like to suggest using the .16 - however I'm not in a position for sharing non-released Beta firmware. Would you mind to try configuring an alternate DNS provider (different from the ISP assigned one, ie. Google Public DNS) on the R9000, reboot, and retry joining ReadyCloud from the X10?
As I had to promise to be nice on the Netgear employees (even if the truth is hard sometimes), would NaderA or AbhayB chime in, trying to understand the issues Netgear customers are experiencing out here in the real world please? Similar, the Netgear community people are challenged ChristineT to share workable ReadyCloud registration, operation, and other problem troubleshooting instructions with the community. So we have some more but hit [Ok] work-or-fail. Same when it comes to the OpenVPN MD5 certificate signature nightmare, or the still not updated dnsmasq (with just very few exceptions). With your loyal customers owning expensive routers claim to no longer buying Netgear - things are wrong and certainly require some urgent management attention and action.

The registration done on 1.0.3.6 did not made it to a workable ReadyCloud connection on 1.0.3.10? The thing is (I'm not Netgear) that .10 did not had long uptime here, because of various issues - but I did not had ReadyCloud on the list.
