Nighthawk RAX50 Not Working with Roku
We recently purchased a Nighthawk RAX50 and it works great with all of our devices EXCEPT our two Roku devices. The network shows up on the Roku, and the Roku claims to have an "Excellent" internet ...
The RAX is connected to the outlet through a Power over Ethernet box. (We just moved into the house, and this is how the prior owners had the old router set up, so we didn't change that.). Our Internet is provided through a small satellite that's set up outside (we're in a rural area), so I don't believe there's a modem.
I see so many issues with these types of connections.
And I haven't really found a good fix for it.
I'd contact your ISP and ask if there's any specific settings needed for your router.
I've seen issues because sometimes the ISP has their own carrier grade nat running plus the routers nat setup.
but again, I haven't found a good answer for you with the broadcast connections.
