Nighthawk Router not connecting to HP printer
Got my new Netgear router set up couple weeks ago but one problem. I have a HP 4500 series printer and I cannot get it set up with Netgear router. I've researched online and apparently connecting a ...
Are you connecting via wireless or ethernet (or USB)? You have to set up the printer on your computer (windows) first.
- Connecting via wireless and I only have Apple products so no windows to set up. Before installing the Netgear I had no problems printing with iPhone and iPad Pro. I have a chromebook for preparing taxes for AARP Taxaide but not for personal use. It connected with previous router as well without having to set it up.

"cannot" is not a useful problem description. It does not say what
you did. It does not say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague

I'd bet that HP does. Start at "hp.com".

security at all?- Ok I had a TP-Link router before that printer was connected to. The Chromebook automatically connected to the old router. My iPhone and iPad Pro were set up and connected to the old router.
The HP Envy 4500 series was working just fine and don’t want to replace unless I can’t connect with Netgear router. I have downloaded the HP Smart app and no luck with that either.
