Nighthawk X10 AD7200 configuring with Asus DSL-N16 Wireless-N300 as Modem

Awesome thank you for confirming Antinode.
I guess I will need to decide what's best, as setting my Nighthawk to repeater mode kind of made me feel like I was wasting its potential a bit, hopefully I can find a way to put the Asus to modem only, then I can pay for the fixed IP to get rid of double NAT. I still need to set up an always on Plex server anyway, so I still have much to do.
Thank you all for your time helping with this!

Reason your having issues with your Plex and potentially your other issues is because of that double nat.
You're running the asus in router mode and the netgear.
You're 2 easiest options?
1. Disable the routing portion of the Asus. Place it in modem only mode. I'd contact Asus for help setting that up as they're the experts with their device. (or your isp). This'll let let the netgear run as the only router.
Or
2. Place the netgear in AP (access point) mode. this disables its own routing functions but still lets its wireless and ethernet ports to work. You can potentially also turn off the wireless on the Asus if you do this. its not needed and if you don't do so, make sure to seperate out the wireless channels so they aren't interfering with each other.
