does it matter if you're connected to the 2.4ghz or 5ghz?
Have you tried them both?
do you have any usb-wireless adapters you can try it with?
That's something I have not tested/tried. Right now I'm connected wirelessly at work with no issues. I'll be home in a few hours and will see what knocks me off.
The only thing is when it kicks me off, the adapter is completely shot until I disable/enable it. I can't even view other networks that are in range.
I do have a Cisco wireless adapter (somewhere). I'm an electronic hoarder and not very organized so it may take me a bit to find it, unless I get lucky.
I will report my findings here either way.

This would make my highly suspicious of the adapter. What wireless adapter is it?
