Thank you for the tip, I realized late last night that I hadn't updated my OpenDNS with my new public address. Once I did that, things started resolving for me.

1. unless you change the dns server on the device (phone, tablet, etc), it uses the router as the dns server. the router points the dns server request as the dns server you set. so on your devices, it'll show the router.
2. Are you using IPv6? If so, you also have to make sure to change the IPv6 dns server.
