Is that audible or loud?
is the sound coming from the router box unit or the power adapter?
If the sound is coming from the router box, then maybe time for a new router. Nothing can be done for odd noises coming from the router box inside.
A family member thought she could hear a faint, high-pitched whine, similar to tinitus. But I can't hear it so I'm trying to explore the possibilities ....
More often than not, it's coil whine.
Is there anything I can do to reduce the coil whine? Does it mean I need a new router??
