Nighthawk X4S AC2600 Not Sending Wifi
I have the Netgear Nightawk X4S AC2600 router. I have a line that directly connects my laptop to the router, and that is working fine. My computer has internet. However, it is not sending out wifi...

So you tried factory reset?
And you pushed and held the wifi on/off button (2nd from the right on the front of the router) for 2 seconds?
You could try reinstalling the firmware in case something is corrupt in the firmware.

Thank you, plemans!
1. no, neither of the wifi 2.4ghz/5ghz wifi led's are on on the panel
2. I had wifi this morning, I am not aware of any change that would have happened for it to have stopped in the last couple of hours.
3. I have both unplugged the router, counted to 10, and plugged it back in. As well as pushed the on/off button and waited for 10 seconds between turning it back on.
I am concerned the router has gone out. I am able to hard wire into the internet just fine. I even have a hardwire from the router to my laptop, and that is working just fine. However nothing is going through wirelessly.

Thank you!
I just tried this. I kept the power on, held down the reset button with a pen (I knew it was held down well enough because the power light turned orange while the others went off) for 15 seconds. However, it still is not working. Any other suggestions?

Wow, thank you so much, plemans!! I didn't realize the buttons on the front were able to be pushed. I guess somehow/someone must have pushed down the wifi button to turn it off. I feel like an idiot. Wow - I am so sorry! Thank you VERY much for your help and saving me from going out and buying a new router. I am VERY VERY thankful!
