Nighthawk X4S internet port stopped working
Good afternoon,
I currently have a Netgear Nighthawk X4S R7800 running on Firmware V1.0.2.90.
The router was working fine up until mid day today when the internet light started blinking amber.
I have connected my computer to my modem directly to isolate a possible issue with the ISP and its works OK.
I have changed ethernet cables, power cycled the modem and router but the issue persists.
I am able to log in to router interface and the Internet port shows error (not connected).
Outside of a router reset, I wanted to see if anyone had any advise on how to solve this issue.
Thanks in advance.

Power off the router and disconnect it from the ISP modem.
POwer ON the router and connect one wired PC or laptop to the router.
Can you access the routers web page at 192.168.1.1 or routerlogin.com at all in any browser?Does the wired PC get an IP address from the router at all?
If any of this fails, press the reset button for 10 seconds then release and setup the router from scratch.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

Hello,
Yes, I can access routerlogin.com. That is how I found about the internet port status.
I do get an IP but no internet traffic.
I have already power cycled the modem and router several times. I have a Netgear modem CM1000.
Just wanted to see if there was another alternative to resetting.- FURRYe38Guru - Experienced User
Reset and when the router is ready, pull the power plug for 15 seconds then back in. When the router is ready walk thru the setup wizard and after it completes, check the connection speed.
