Nighthawk X4S R7800 OVPN multiple issues

Have VPN connection problem. it worked years ago but then suddenly stopped and nothing helped. Trying to approach this issue again but it seems the configuration provided by the modem does not work at all.

after adding/commenting these lines in config;

data-ciphers AES-128-CBC

;comp-lzo
;verb 0

have this in the log:
