A little clarrification on the graphic... Its just a screen shot of dslreports showing recent test history. Speeds from 904 Mbps in the chart through 1010 are the ZyXEL rental equipment provided by Centurylink. Speeds 581 through 581 at the far right are my "upgraded" R7800 option which apparently saves me $10 a month at the cost of losing 300 Mbps per month.
Tests were done on a windows desktop with 16 gigs of ram and an Intel i7 over gigabit ethernet. I am really hoping someone tells me I'm an idiot and set something up wrong here - otherwise this router just can't hang.
