Thank you for the update. I have tried this but to no avail.
Is there a way to block or remove this Unknown device from the router via the Nighthawk App? I don't see any option for that but have seen prior posts with people claiming they did that.

"this" tells me nothing, and "no avail" is no better.
None of that is a useful problem description. It does not say what
you did. It does not say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.

I don't use any Netgear-supplied app, or any extenders, so I know
nothing. I also know nothing about your (unspecified) "my Router", but
you might want to investigate the router's access control capability.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read.
Look for a topic like "Control Access to Your Network" or "access
control".
- BFS987Jun 10, 2021AspirantApologize for the confusion. I have unplugged all other devices cutting power to see if I can get the unknown device to drop off of the extender. But this did not work. I am still showing an unknown device on my extenders network.
Thank You.- antinodeJun 10, 2021Guru

As I wrote, my extender experience is nil, but with no actual
information, I wonder if your "an unknown device" is your (unspecified)
"my Router".If you're asking the extender to what it's connected, then your
(unspecified) "my Router" might qualify. Traffic between it and the
extender would seem to be of no great interest for billing purposes.Of course, with my weak psychic powers, among the things about your
(unspecified)"my Router" of which I know nothing would be its MAC
addresses. Just as I can't see what's in your extender's Attached
Devices report.- BFS987Jun 13, 2021Aspirant
OK, thanks. I guess I am at a loss here.
Unless you know of an easy way to block or kick this "unknown device" off my Network. Thank you.
