Nighthawk X6 AC3000 R7900 latency to ISP
Since the FW update to the version seen below, I have had a significant delay through my r7900 on both wired and WIFI. Email - both Outlook and gmail do not sync on first/second/third attempt - tak...

Okay, I downloaded the previous version of the FW flashed the FW back to
Firmware Version V1.0.4.38_10.0.50
GUI Language Version V1.0.4.38_2.1.44.1The latency is GONE! AND the pages now refresh literally in a FLASH of the eye as they should.
That CONFIRMS the issue is with the latest FW. I will try to flash again to the latest by downloading directly from the NG site as the Router update should have, and see if the Latency returns.
I am not real comfortable going downlevel in FW due to the fixes are security bugs.
So how do I protect from the security flaws that have been patched / updated in the latest FW update?
So downgrading to the last FW is really NOT a "solution" because it negates security patches updates of the new version

Did you factory reset the router after last FW version was updated and applied and setup from scratch?
Check NGs download page:

Thank you for the response, and I appreciate your question eventhough I know I wrote a lot of information where I did say I have repeatedly REBOOTED and factory reset, and that I do not need scripted answers.
So the short answer is YES, of course I rebooted after the FW update, which BTW the Router does automatically after flashing the FW, and I rebooted after each change in configuration (also an automatic function in the Router) when I was trying to find the cause of the latency problem inside the router.
Since I have had this latency problem I have probably rebooted EASILY 20-30 times, factory reset at least 5-6 times, rebuilt my configs from scratch, and the latency exists no matter what I do.

Something to let NG know about then. You may contact them and let them know of your experiences:

How do I let support know without paying money for a support ticket?
My support on this unit ran out years ago and the cause of the product is a FW update that was installed after the Waranty period.
My bet is that support does not care about a unit where the warranty and support expired in January 2017 even if their FW release caused a problem.
