Nighthawk X6 R7850 problems with pc but not mac
I have a Nighthawk X6 R7850. I have both PC's and Mac's using this router both wired and wireless. The pc's have continual issues of the signal dropping and being inconsistent. I never have this p...
1. what modem/gateway is the router connected to?
2. what firmware is on the router?
3. the pc's that are having issues, are they hardwired in or wireless? if wireless, what wireless card do they have?
4. are you using smart connect? (try with it disabled and connecting the troublesome devices to the 5ghz)

2. what firmware is on the router? v1.0.5.76_10.1.82

I have one that is wired and one that is wireless and both are having the same problem. I have tried both connected to other networks and have no issues with either pc that is why I think it is a specific issue with this router.
4. are you using smart connect? (try with it disabled and connecting the troublesome devices to the 5ghz) No I have turned off smart connect.
