Nighthawk X6 R7900 Wireless Bridge mode nonexistent?
Hello,
I have updated my Nighthawk X6 R7900 to the latest firmware. My only option under advanced settings is to set this up as a Wireless AP. There is no option to configure this as a repeater or a wireless bridge. I just want to know if that is by design or if I am missing something.
I have a primary router and I would like to set this R7900 as a wireless bridge/repeater.
There is another post here (https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-Wi-Fi-5-AC-Routers/R8000-R7900-No-Wireless-Bridge-Mode/m-p/1099690) that says the issue is solved by someone linking an article, but that isn't correct. The article linked in this post applies to the R7900P, not the R7900. Please let me know if I'm missing some option or if a specific firmware (older) had this option available.
Thanks!

I don't see the R7900 being listed as supported of wireless bridge mode:

Also be aware that the R7900 is EoL:
Was the Bridge mode see before you updated? If so, you might downgrade back to what had it listed.

One way to recycle an old router is to use Powerline Ethernet to put it into AP mode. Just about every router has that option even if it can't work as a wireless repeater.
