Nighthawk X6 R8000 - admin access through internet port

Hello all

 

I've been searching the net and netgear site but can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.

 

I've recently setup a new X6 and it's running fine with 72Mb/s download and 11Mb/s upload.

 

My problem is trying to figure out the http(s)/port# combination to access the admin console; https://192.168.1.146:XXXX


I have an older model, R6100, running in parallel, and I'm able to access the console using its internet port at https://192.168.1.156:8443. I tried to use the same combo on X6 but no luck.

 

Any suggestion is much appreciated.

    And of course, a few minutes after my initial post, I found what the issue was; I forgot to check the "Turn Remote Management On".  After I checked to enable, tried it again, and now I'm able to access the console.

     

    Issue is solved - technically, it was not an issue, it's a user issue lol
