Hi again,
As mentioned above: "Ethernet cable between F1 router and R8000 router."
Please note, again, that everything worked well until the change of password. It has worked well for years.
And it actually works perfect in this moment.
So there is nothing wrong with the hardware setup itself. All signals goes perfectly correct.
Except once a week.
The question is; what in the software is it that, once a week, disturbs everything and forces me to reset the R8000 router?
If you still believe there is something wrong with hardware setup. Please explain why you expect the hardware setup to suddenly become a problem because of a changed password.

Every day when devices are connected to the internet, there is a possibility of firmware updates either upstream at the ISP level or downstream at the user level.
Repeat of a previous question, what is the brand name, model number, and function of the "F1" device?
This is a direct and fundamental question. When it is left unanswered, you are just wasting the time of anyone involved.
