The 5g-1 network is crazy flaky, it will regularly drop internet connection. During the "good" times streaming music will regularly stop for a few second before reconnecting. The Logitech Circle secu...

I've seen a few rare instances where an external hard drive causes issues.
If you unplug the drive, reboot the router, and try it, does it stay stable?

No better :smileysad:
Infact the 5g-1 is no longer showing up, even tried unplugging and waiting 2 minutes.
Devices that can see it, can't actually connect.- plemansJan 08, 2022Guru - Experienced User
I take it your not using smart connect?
Is it specific devices having issues with it?
Reason I ask is the router is showing devices connected so its broadcasting/working.

Not using smart connect, and when it goes wrong, nothing can connect to the 5G-1 network.
Nothing can see it to connect to it, the devices listed had been connected, but got kicked off.On my iPhone, if it connect to 5G-1 before it goes down, it will show as connected but give a warning about encypted DNS being blocked and won't actually have internet. If I manually disconnect from the network I can't see it again to re-connect.
In an attempt to stablise thing I have blocked internet access to the device with the MAC address 6A:7F:FA:B1:83:E9. These seems to have settled things for now, but the log is still flooded with connects.
