Nighthawk X6 R8000 Router Firmware Update Issue
There is no way for my router to update the firmware. Tried Router Update / A router firmware upgrade is avaliable with no luck. Please help. Thanks.

Make sure to unzip the downloaded file. The file that should be loaded on the router has the .chk extension.
The firmware downloaded from Netgear support should be valid. However, the update is not working.

- You could reset the device to the factory settings and see if that works.
Tried unzip the zip file. It is not helping.
- You seem to be going through several updates in one leap. You are five behind the latest. It should work, but you could try using an intermediate firmware. First try the one after your current version.
Tried the following version:
R8000-V1.0.3.26_1.1.18.zip
R8000-V1.0.3.4_1.1.2.zip
Same error message "This firmware file is incorrect! Please get the firmware file again and make sure it is the correct firmware for this product. " is returned
