Nighthawk x6 r8000 usb drive in AP mode

Question

Hi&nbsp; I had a USB drive connected to Nighthawk router and recognized on network&nbsp; &nbsp;I changed service to FIOS which came with router that does not have a working USB connection.&nbsp; &nbsp;I set my Nighthawk to AP mode and when I did this the USB drive is no longer recognized.&nbsp; Is there a way to set up the nighthawk so it will recognize the usb hard drive and still be in AP mode?&nbsp; If not any suggestions on how to resolve this.&nbsp; &nbsp; Thanks

AP mode shouldn't disable the usb function.&nbsp;
Which features are disabled on my NETGEAR router when it is set to AP Mode | Answer | NETGEAR Support

I'd be more curious if its just how you're access it on the network in ap mode.&nbsp;
