Nighthawk X65 does not connect through http://routerlogin.com
The model R8000P os NOT the model number on the router - however, the correct model number did not take in the system. Here is the story: I’ve just installed a new Nighthawk X65 AC3600 Model R79...
You would do better to ditch any mobile app and to use a direct wired connection with the browser graphical user interface (GUI).

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
That page will also have any software, firmware and drivers for your device, if they exist.
Look for the model number on the label on the device.
