Nighthawk XR500 keeps rebooting every 2 hours

Question

Hello,&nbsp;I just got an XR500 on black friday. Everything seem to be working fine till my brother connected to it via WiFi 5g and it seems to reboot every 2 hours or so.&nbsp;Tried changing the frequency on both 2.4/5. Did the basic troubleshooting of rebooting the device and modem. Same results.&nbsp;I am on the latest firmware. Once the router was setup I updated to the latest firmware. Any suggestions?

what actual firmware version are you on?&nbsp;
You might also try posting in the pro-gaming forum for your device. The DumaOS guys on there are great. I'll notify a mod to move this post.&nbsp;

After you updated firmware, did you try a factory reset? Sometimes the firmware changes enough that old settings cause issues.&nbsp;

These things have their own DumaOS operating system with a dedicated band of minders.
