NighthawkNighthawk X6 R8000 QOS performance optimizing database not updating?

On my NighthawkNighthawk X6 R8000 router, there is an option to enable QOS, which can help with optimising device priority packets. I am not sure this feature ever worked as expected, but today I just noticed that the latest database version I have for it was released in 2017.

When I click to update it, it says no newer version available. Is this correct? have netgear abandonned there QOS feature?. Is it worth using it now?. Its annoying because alot of the devices in my network are not properly identified by device type and are set as device type other, which I feel makes it not properly prioritise traffic in my network.

Please let me know if this is no longer supported, is there a way I can manually update the database or install a thirdparty database?

I have disabled the feature today and would like to see how this may impact the network traffic now.
