Nighthawk(R) X4S R7800 5g Wifi keeps disconnecting

I don't have an R7800 but from the forums, its seemed like theres been a few people with issues on the newer versions of the firmware.
Try version 1.0.2.60. Then do a factory reset and new install (don't use a backup). See how that works.
It worked - kind of. 5G Network is no longer vanishing, only stops working. My laptop and all devices are connected to it but there is no networking, local and internet networks are inacessible. Everything works fine on 2.4. I'm thinking of downloading even older firmware and try as this router worked superb for past few years.

You can try older versions but that specific one was pretty stable. Did you do a factory reset and then clean install after the firmware change (by clean i mean not reinstalling from a backup configuration)?
It might be a hardware failure. How old is the device?
Ok, i think i managed to resolve the problem. I belive issue was caused by incorrect PSU, instead of 12V, 3.5A i was using 12V 1.5A. I bought 12V 5A and it seems to be stable now. Im still loosing internet connection from time to time but WiFi have stopped disconnecting.
