No DSL Port
Have I made an error. I’ve just upgraded my router and there is no DSL port. How do I connect my router? My current Nighthawk has a DSL port. Thanks

Is your old router a combo device that has a moder/router functionality? If so you will need a DSL modem to connect to your ISP then you will connect that to your new router.

Why? To this?:

Has it also a model number? Look for "Model" on the product label.

You could connect it to your old (unspecified) "My current
Nighthawk", which, presumably, includes a DSL modem. Or you could get a
new DSL modem, and use that.Configure your old (unspecified) "My current Nighthawk" as a modem
only, or else configure your new R8000 as a wireless access point.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read.
Repeat as required.
