No internet connection r7000
I am currently recieving no internet connection through any devices through wifi. I have good connection when hard wired to Modem but when hooked back up to router I get nothing. I have reset the rou...
Its just checking to ensure the router is on the same ip address.
did you try a different pc/laptop to access the router?
What modem do you have?
What caused it to happen? Firmware update? power surge? What happend?
What are all the led's on the front of the r7000 doing?
I have a spectrum modem. Reset that as well. internet coming out is fine as I am replying to this hard wired to my modem.
I am not aware of anything that happened. If there was a power surge it must have been extremly short as there was nothing else effected (no light flashing on microwave or anything else). I have not had a firmware update.
The lights all look correct except for the internet light seems to be flashing. very subtle flashing compared to the other lights.
You reset the router?
Pushed and held reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on?
After a full reset, are you able to access the router through a hardwired connection (not using the app)
I am not super computer savy. Yes I reset the router.
When you say hardwired in do you mean off one of the other 4 ports and go in through the IP address? if yes than yes I have tried and was revieving no internet access to do anything.
I'm not worried about internet access right now. I'm trying to see if you can access the routers gui through the browser
