I have a spectrum modem. Reset that as well. internet coming out is fine as I am replying to this hard wired to my modem.
I am not aware of anything that happened. If there was a power surge it must have been extremly short as there was nothing else effected (no light flashing on microwave or anything else). I have not had a firmware update.
The lights all look correct except for the internet light seems to be flashing. very subtle flashing compared to the other lights.

You reset the router?
Pushed and held reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on?
After a full reset, are you able to access the router through a hardwired connection (not using the app)

I am not super computer savy. Yes I reset the router.
When you say hardwired in do you mean off one of the other 4 ports and go in through the IP address? if yes than yes I have tried and was revieving no internet access to do anything.

I'm not worried about internet access right now. I'm trying to see if you can access the routers gui through the browser

Understood. If I go to routerlogin.net i get a message saying that I am not connected to my routers wifi network. if i go to 192.168.1.1 it just spins. I am getting internet hardwired into one of the 4 ports off the back to my computer.

I would also suggest while you are hardwired and can access the net to get the latest firmware
1.0.11.116 for the router and have that ready to try to update as well.
Also, I would suggest downloading the old firmware version .42 just in case you need to go back to an old firmware as between .42 and the current one 1.0.11.116, there has been a lot of stability issues over the last couple years with the firmware between those versions.
Surprisingly, the latest firmware 1.0.11.116 has been stable for me, considering I have had to go back to .42 for every version except the latest, which is why I suggest downloading both and having them both available.
