No wifi after 2 days

Every 2 days I lose wifi connection so I havw to turn off the router and turn it back on every night to reset that from happening so I dont lose connection to my devices that require wifi. This happened last year after a month of purchase and someone helped me change some settings on the router through the router ip log in settings but I can’t remember what I did and now that service has expired. Anyone know which settings I have to change to prevent that from happening again?
