Number 6 by my wifi signal
There's a number 6 right by my wifi signal and am wondering what it means. Contacted Samsung, they didn't have a clue so I'm asking netgear since it might mean wifi 6 is what I'm receiving on ny smart...
Maybe there is some signal quality that maybe seen with the phone and your router vs a different router that doesn't have any additional information for the phone to use. Also if your on a guest network wifi, this may not be available either. Something the phone mfr should know of as they design the UI for the phone and the components of it. They tell the phone what to display and in case of extra features maybe available on some wifi signals, can display this number.
They acted like they had no clue. Maybe I was talking to the wrong person. So I should try the manufacturer again or find some techno wizard to confer with?
Ya most 1st level tech support may not be very knowledgable. Ya see if you can find more experienced tech support or find there tech support forum and post this there. Might find other users with this device seeing same thing.
