You'll not see speed on 2.4Ghz anywhere near 500Mpbs. Due to limitation of the frequency and configuration and design of wifi devices, most you may see is around 200-300 depending on wifi device design and support.

Thanks! Yes, I hit about 300 Mbps d/l on the 5.0 side. I generally use the 2.4 as I'm often outdoors on my patio, and the 5.0 doesn't handle walls very well.

That's the nature of 5Ghz, higher frequency of 5Ghz is impacted by building materials. 🙄

Home is one level, 1,700 sq. ft. Typical Las Vegas construction, sheetrock inside, 6" fiberglass insulation, stucco outside, and tile roof.
