We have had this router for over 6 years now. We've never had an issue with connecting to the internet. We have one device (a Dell laptop) that has connected in the past with no issues, but recently it will no longer stay connected to the internet. We contacted the internet provider and there is no issue on their end. How can we get this device back connected and working properly with the router?
Go to the Dell support web site and check to see if there are updates to the Wi-Fi drivers.
Go in to the Windows settings and check the Network status. Under properties, check to see if the profile is set to private and not public. Sometimes Windows updates will change the profile to public with no outside input.
