whenever its a single device with issues, it makes me suspicious of the device and not the network.
Might try a simple wifi usb adapter and see if that works. If it does, you could always try replacing the internal card or keep using the usb one

I agree with Plemans, it could be the failure of your wi-fi and/or network port on your laptop.
If you have a network port, you could try hardwiring into the router to see if there is a connection and to check for updated drivers for the wi-fi and/or firmware for the laptop, as it possibly could also use a bios update that might possibly help as well.
If that fails or not possible, then I have the same suggestion to get a wi-fi adaptor and try that.
