Hi, I had the same. I spoke to Netgear about the issue they said it might be some kind of protection from a sudden power outage. In fact, I have done some tests as well by cutting off the power and switching it back on and what I found was not always the router could not restart after the power outage. In my case was the frequency of the power outage. If it was one by one in a short period of time router did not start but if it was one-time power off the router did start. Finally, I decided to make a warranty complaint as btw one of the LAN ports stopped working.
