OpenSSL Upgrade

What is the process for upgrading the OpenSSL version in use for OpenVPN on my routers. There is a new critical vulnerability in OpenSSL and a new release of version 3.0.7 will be available on 11/1/2022.

I have read about the upgrade of OpenVPN but I am assuming there must be something upgraded on the routers for this to work?

    For the OpenVPN client software, when available you can download new versions from the OpenVPN web site.

    For the OpenVPN server software used by your router, it is not something you have control over.  You will have to wait until Netgear releases updated firmware that addresses the vulnerability.
