Password for firmware update
Why doesn't my login (which I assume is my email address) and my password work when I am trying to update the firmware at the www.netgearlogin site? I am using the same combo that allows me access to...

There is a manual for the R7500v2 somewhere at the end of this link:
>>>> Nighthawk R7500v2 | AC2350 Smart WiFi Router | NETGEAR Support <<<<
Check page 106 for what you are trying to do. If the default password does not work, you may have set your own password some time in the past. If you have forgotten it, the only answer is to factory reset the thing (see below).
That link will also get you the latest firmware. It should have release notes that also tell you how to access your router's browser interface. (It isn't a website out on the internet as most people understand it.)

My laarger isssue is I keep getting kicked off my 5G on all of my devices throghout the house. Will this help resolve this issue? It might do. That's what firmware is for. The release notes should explain what is fixed, but Netgear rarely bothers to provide much detail.
It might be worth doing a factory reset after the firmware update. (See page 11 in the manual.) Some people see this as superposition, but it has been known to fix problems, especially on the wifi front.
Good luck. If you still have 5 GHz problems, you might want to start a different discussion.
