Playstation 4 ip adress keeps repeating in the upnp
So for a long while I have been having problem with my playstion 4s being stuck on nat type 3. When I try to fix it I noticed in my upnp the ip adress for one of my plastation keep repeating. Like it ...
I solved the issue by turning off the upnp and now all my playstations for the first time in 4 years they all went nat type 2 with no complications. So to conclude this post the UpNp doesn't work well with consoles.
Not much to go on.
What NG router product are you using?
if you have more than one game console all connected at one time, you'd need to disable or change NAT Filter to OPEN to make it work with uPnP. Been a long time known configuration problem with having two or more game consoles online at the same time getting OPEN NAT across all consoles. Changing NAT Filter to Open fixes this.
