Poor wifi performances
Hello i noticed since the beginning a medium to bad network speed from my 7300v2 as extender. Since few days the extender has erratic behaviour. I tried full reset, upload lastest firmware, even next ...
1. On the extender i get less than 2mbps while on the internet router i have +900mbps
2. Same on 2.4 and 5 ghz
3. Distance between the router and extender doesn’t change the performance in my case. It can be 1 m to 5 meters away.
4. The router and extender are in the same open area or in view in a corridor
5. A meter or so
6. I used speedtest from ookla and the app from netgear on ios
7. A router from my provider SFR(france) using fiber
8. More than 900 mbps on wire on router and more rhan 200 mbps via wifi

4. The router and extender are in the same open area or in view in a corridor----Again, if they're in the same area, why do you have an extender? Extenders aren't going to increase your speeds in an open area. They actually drop thoroughput 50% because of how they have to function (single/dual band) But pretty sure the question was about what the home was made of.

What method of setup did you use? WPS or the installation assistant?
What wired speed do you get on the extender?
What firmware is on the extender?
