Port Forwarding not working R7500v2
Hello I am attempting to forward some ports on my Night Hawk R7500v2. I have the computer's Ip set with a reservation and windows firewall is turned off. No matter what port I attempt to forward it still is closed when I check it. Im using firmware version 1.0.3.10. This is madness ive set this up on other routers before with no issues.
Thanks for the info. I called my ISP and they do not restict any ports. So I checked my settings over again and after checking respond to internet ping in the router menu. I was able to get the ports I needed open. Stupid mistakes are the worst lol.

Apart from setting up port forwarding on the router, there are two other important requirements to fulfill before a port test will report success.
- The router's Internet/WAN port must have a public IP address. The following are NOT public IP addresses:
- 192.168.x.x
- 10.x.x.x
- 172.16.x.x through 172.31.x.x
- 100.64.x.x through 100.127.x.x
- The PC must be listening to the ports in question. If it's not, then it won't respond to connection requests from the port tester, which will report a failure.
