After trying 5 times I am still unable to forward my router so I can access my dvr when not at home.
Please help.

Thank you.

You could do whatever you're doing any number of times, but, with my
weak psychic powers, I still couldn't see what you did.

"unable" is not a useful problem description.  It does not say what
you did.  It does not say what happened when you did it.  As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
    descriptions or interpretations.

I also have no idea what your "my dvr" might be, or how you access it
    when you _are_ "at home".

       You first?

Based on approximately no useful information, I don't know how
helpful it might be, but, for the usual problems with port forwarding,
