You are correct, they are not compatible. Tehy sent a device that connects through the wired ethernet connection. I think I may have figured it out... They gave me two port forwarding services that I had to insert into the router. However, after reviewing it just a bit ago, I noticed that they left the external IP address set to any which might explain what is happening. I changed to a single IP address (hopefully, I got the right one) and while I was able to dial in with my cell phone, no foolsihness yet! Keeping my fingers crossed!

It seems to have worked as I have been able to make outgoing calls and all the ncoming calls have been real! Question now is... I turned off all the firewall features on the router, should I leave them off or turn them back on, even though th issue is resolved?

I'd turn them back on. If the issue comes back, disable them all and restart them 1 by 1 to figure out which causes an issue.
