Port Speeds on R8500 with No Aggregation.
If NOT binding the 2 ports.. keeping -6- seperate ports... what are the Fastest Ports. What's the port speeds for each port ? I see on the Port Aggregation page it states when using Aggregat...
It has been verified that ports 1,2, & 3 can handle up to 1Gbps.
While ports 4,5 & 6 are shared and it's up to 1Gbps.
In terms of linkspeed, ports 4,5 & 6 will show 1Gbps on your computer. However, when it comes to throughput, it will be divided on the number of devices attached on those 3 ports.
On your Mac, make sure that the adapter is set to 1Gbps Full Duplex
