R 8000

firmware update didnt complete.it asked me to cancel so I did.  Now router will not power on all the way and I cant connect to router at all with phone or computer. White light at top of unit blinks ...

That's odd.Where did you see that?

 

All the updates throw up warnings in big shouty letters that say something like:

 

DO NOT INTERRUPT A FIRMWARE UPDATE

    It said it on my phone. Said the update couldnt be completed. Do u want to cancel? So i did. Assuming everything would be okay. NOT! So i got another router. Downloaded the latest firmware. Awful! Cuts out constantly. Terrible!!!! Even stuff directly hooked to router. Just cut out. It will show no signal.
