Too little information.
What tells you that it is "bricked"? (That's a term that people use indifferent ways.) What do the LEDs on the front look like?
What were you doing when this happened?
You are describing a generic issue but the R6080 is not one of the Nighthawk WiFi Routers covered here. You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
General WiFi Routers (Non-Nighthawk & Non-Orbi) - NETGEAR Communities
The R6080 is also a pretty basic router. According to Netgear's manual for this device, not always the most reliable source of information, the LAN and WAN support only 10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX. That makes it slower than many newer internet services and most modern network hardware. This may not matter to you, but be warned that it will hobble you if you ever sign up for faster Internet. Anything over 100 Mbps. It also slows down whatever is going on in your local network. Newer devices support 1000BASE-TX.
Nothing wrong with it being old, just don't expect too much.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

You can try recoving it with tftp or nmrpflash if it truly is bricked. We're not 100% if thats happened as you gave only a small amount of data on whats going on. If it turly is, are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTPjust make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash
