R6230 Bridge Mode

Hello,

I am using a Netgear R6230 Smart WiFi Router to connect a USR-W610 RS232/485 to WiFi and Ethernet converter. Would anyone know if there is a way put the router in a bridge mode. I am not seeing it on any of the advanced Wi-Fi setup pages.

Thank you,

RP

"to connect [this] converter" to what? Why?

       This?:

What does "bridge mode" mean to you in this context?

What, exactly, are you trying to connect to what, exactly, how,
    exactly?

General advice: You might have more success if you described
(clearly) the actual problem which you are trying to solve, rather than
asking how to implement some particular "solution" ("put the router in a
bridge mode") which might have little or nothing to do with the actual
    problem (whatever it might be).

Also, I'd expect the number of people here who are familiar with this
(or any other) serial-network adapter to pretty small.  I've used (and
still do use) old (DEC) terminal servers, but I've nerev touched one of
    these.

If you're trying to use an R6230 as a wireless bridge to connect the
wireless interface of a USR-W610 to a wired network, then I don't see
that kind of bridge mode in the R6230 User Manual.  But, bearing in mind
that I know nothing about it, couldn't you just use the Ethernet port on
the USR-W610 for a wired network connection?  The "Functional Block
Diagram" on that web page suggests that the two network interfaces are
    approximately interchangeable.
