I do not know much about routers besides how to find an ip address and hook up. I tried to go through the walkthrough and it stops right before connection. I called support and they want me to purcha...
There is a firewall (iptables) built-in in every NG router. Not sure which "support" you called that tries to sell you a "firewall"? NG's support is outsourced to GearHead. That's the only valid support. All others are scam sites pretending to offer official support for NG
Thanks, Thats what i thought that these routers included firewalls. I did use the netgear app as well as scanned the QR on the router itself. I just dont understand why I have to purchase a firewall and if there is a way around that. Thanks for responding
