R6350 choppy/laggy
when I screen mirror a video or live streaming from any of my apple devices, to my Apple TV, it's choppy and laggy. The people at Target told me to disable my firewall. But that sounds risky. I ha...
What modem do you have? ARRIS SURFBOARD
What tv, platform, and device are you using? SONY SMART TV, MACBOOK PRO, IPAD, IPHONE 11
Is your streaming devices on 2.4ghz or 5ghz? I CAN USE EITHER
What type of content are you streaming? (HD takes more bandwidth). USUALLY JUST VIDEOS TAKEN ON AN IPHONE. EITHER VIDEOS I TOOK MYSELF, OR ONES THAT WERE SENT TO ME. ALSO LIVE STREAMED GAMES OF MY KIDS IN COLLEGE. ALL OF THESE VIDEOS COME UP WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS, LAGGING OR BUFFERING ON MY DEVICES, UNTIL I SCREEN MIRROR TO APPLE TV.

3. Make sure youd devices with 5ghz, are on the the 5ghz. its a much faster band and suffers from less interference.
4. Is it only on the sony tv that you screen mirror on? what sony tv is it? is it hardwired in? connected to 2.4ghz? connected to 5ghz?

FYI - WHEN OTHER PEOPLE TRY TO SCREEN MIRROR TO MY TV IT DOES THE SAME THING. WHEN I SCREEN MIRRORED TO A FRIEND'S APPLE TV, IT WORKED JUST FINE.

3. does your friends device have issues screen mirroring on yours
4. If you connect the apple tv to your tv, does it have issues.
trying to figure out if its a networking issue or a tv issue
