What modem/gateway is the R6400 connected to?
What firmware is on the R6400?
So everything works fine if you're on your local lan but once you need online access, is where you have issues?

The modem gateway is one providided by Spectrum. I am not at the house right now so can not see the model number.
The router firmware version is V1.0.1.62.
Yes, all works fine on LAN but not on WAN.
Thanks for your help.

How often are you there? (just curious because much of the testing is hands on)
have you checked if the aqualink needs any port forwarding rules?
also, the spectrum model is key as well.
Another though is trying a different dns provider like google (8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4) or cloudfare at 1.1.1.1
Or potentially using the netgears dmz to pass data to the aqualink.

I will be back there on Saturday and staying for 5-6 months so can do lots of testeing.
I did try google DNS servers without success.
I have no knowledge of how to use the Neatgear DNZ to pas data. Any help on this would be appreciated. Once again though, all worked fine with no changes to anything unless someone snuck in and updated firmware or someting without my knowledge.

Or it could have been spectrum updating their device. A double nat can cause issues.
