R6400v2 AC1750 download speeds

I purchased this router a few years ago and with several of us working from home have been having internet speed issues.  My internet plan is for 200 mbps but I am only getting ~ 90 mbps down and 35 ...

What firmware version are you on? 

What modem/gateway is it connected to? 

Have you checked the cable? When you get that 90mbps (ish) it makes me suspect it isn't connected at gigabit speeds. The ethernet cable is a reasonable first place to check

    Thanks for the reply.  Figured out it was the cable connecting the modem to the router.  Still not thrilled with wifi speeds but at least I see I'm getting the correct speed to the router.
