R6400v2 DNS Issues
My last internet provider required a wireless gateway, so I didn't need to use my R6400v2 for about a year. I just pulled it out again and did a factory reset. In the process it upgraded to the lates...
I have a Nighthawk R8000P that autoupdated to the newest firmware (V1.4.2.84_1.3.42). I have had nothing but DNS issues since the "upgrade". I just rolled back to the previous firmware (V1.4.1.68_1.3.28) and DNS problems all gone.
RushMan2112 are you using IPv6?
I am. I changed the IPv6 settings to AUTO and went to an IPv6 test site. My tests all passed so I did the firmware update again. Everything seems to be working fine now.
